Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is made up of staff from local agencies formally participating in the 1W1P process as well as an advisory BWSR staff member and any hired consultants. Members of this committee are responsible for the day-to-day plan development work.

Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee includes all members of the Steering Committee as well as community members, stakeholder groups, drainage authorities, federal agencies, etc. Members of this committee are responsible for the inclusion of stakeholder representation in policy recommendations.

Planning Policy Committee

The Lower St. Croix Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan was approved by Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources on Oct. 28, 2020. As such, the Planning Policy Committee will be disbanding and a new Policy Committee will be formed in January of 2021 to guide implementation of the plan.

The PLANNING Policy Committee is made up of one representative from each local agency formally participating in the 1W1P planning process. Members of this committee must be elected or appointed board members. This committee holds the overall decision-making authority during the planning process.
